Stock Management
The Stock Management module allows a practice to take control of your stock, and minimise the financial investment tied up with ordering products, drugs etc. Suggested orders are produced that return the stock to an ideal level which is based on the turnover of that product. Seasonal fluctuations of products are considered when ordering. Orders can then be submitted directly to the wholesaler/supplier. On delivery of an order, the order can be quickly updated into the stock management system. Where barcodes are available from the wholesaler/supplier, these are used to simplify the process. Reports showing sales, purchases, stock valuations, stock-turn and the number of days supply currently in stock, are available.
Gives Practice Managers and Partners the information to ask the person responsible for ordering stock the question, "Why, if we order every day, have we 2 years supply of xxx?"
